Tron cryptocurrency project team announced the upcoming update of its Odyssey blockchain to version 3.6. According to the developers, this will increase its security and simplify projects’ implementation. After the work, a lightweight event server will be available here, which will make its configuration more comfortable for remote users.
According to dapp.com research, a growing number of projects are being currently implemented on Tron blockchain. This is facilitated by high speed, i.e. several tens of thousands of operations per second. At the same time, the proportion of those who use Ethereum for this purpose falls. According to a recent statement, Ethereum 2.0 will be launched no sooner than in early 2020.
At the meeting of the Heads of the Central Banks held in Portugal, Mark Carney, the Chairman of the Bank of England, spoke in support of the cryptocurrency project by Facebook. The Financial Times reports that Carney announced an unbiased attempt with respect to a new initiative. He is well aware that Facebook faces difficult tasks in coordinating its work with regulators around the world.
However, he is confident that new cryptocurrency will meet all regulatory standards. The main issue that Libra presently faces is to block the access for the shadow sector, and at the same time ensure the protection of rights of bona fide users. The publication reports that not all officials at the meeting in Portugal are so sympathetic. The Minister of Economy and Finance of France said that the project should be taken under total control.
Why Libra project triggered government?
