Ron Paul is confident that Bitcoin will replace the dollar, the turnover of cryptocurrency futures has again increased on CME. Craig Wright has declared his rights to Satoshi’s legacy.
Former member of the US Congress and presidential candidate Ron Paul said that the collapse of the dollar is inevitable. Bitcoin, along with a combination of precious metals, will be able to replace it as the main financial asset of the world. The politician said that he was delighted with the behavior of Bitcoin in the market and the movements of its price.
Ron Paul is known for his free enterprise. He is confident that the market itself can put everything in its place. At the same time, the politician admits that the US Congress is simply not interested in cryptocurrency. The financial lobby sitting there is more interested in preserving the existing mechanisms. However, this is a risky policy that faces serious problems in the future.
Analytical company Diar reports that over the past month there has been an increase in cryptocurrency sales on derivatives exchanges. At the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), the turnover of Bitcoin trade contracts increased from $ 4.8 to $ 6.6 billion over the month. Similar trading patterns are observed in other trading platforms.
However, the turnover at CME grew not so much as that of already familiar cryptoexchanges. There the increase was more than 85%. However, this does not mean that large investors are less active. Most likely, they simply share the risks between different securities and sites. In addition, they have now received a full set of services for buying and selling Bitcoin itself, and not just contracts linked to its price.
Australian Craig Steven Wright, who declared himself the creator of Bitcoin Satoshi Nakamoto, once again stirred up the cryptocurrency public. He stated that the United States Copyright Office recognized him as the owner of the White Paper. This document has almost sacred meaning for all cryptocurrency fans, which made the news almost sensational.
However, experts reassured the public. The application submitted by Wright has no legal force. Even before this, the impostor announced the receipt of rights to a significant part of the Bitcoin source code. Theoretically, this could allow him to claim deductions from his use of the blockchain. However, in practice, everything is a little different. The code was licensed under the MIT license, which allows any user to use it.
For what Craig Wright did it?
